I like fun facts!

Did you know there’s a secret subway station under the City Hall in NYC? The beautifully tiled City Hall station was closed to the public in 1945, but you can still catch a glimpse of it by staying on the 6 train after its last stop. It’s a hidden gem beneath the bustling city streets!

Discovering Bua Thai Ramen & Robata Grill:

A Culinary Adventure in NYC

Looking for a new dining spot for the last few Summer nights we have coming up?

I got you covered! Food on point - Aesthetics on point! win, win!

Bua Thai Ramen & Robata Grill on the Upper East Side is a gem you need to check out. This place brings you some of the most authentic Thai cuisine in NYC. The vibrant atmosphere and attention to detail will for sure transport you to a different world.

Let’s start with drinks!

Organic Thai Mojito and The Pomelo Maithai

Both of these drinks are a must-try! The Organic Thai Mojito is refreshing with a perfect balance of mint and citrus, while the Pomelo Maithai offers a delightful twist with its sweet and tangy flavor. You really do not feel that liquor, but you sure do feel that creep up! IYKYK, lol. Both get a perfect 100/10 from me!

Next up: APPETIZERS!

Fried Minced Chicken Wontons:

These crispy wontons are filled with savory minced chicken and served with a tangy dipping sauce. They're crunchy, flavorful, and just the right start to your meal. I'd rate them 8.5/10.

Fried Calamari:

Lightly battered and fried to perfection, the calamari is tender and served with a zesty sauce. I AM A SAUCEY GIRLY FOR LIFE! The dip definitely adds such a nice zesty taste to it. It's a great dish to share and gets a solid 9/10.

ENTREES’ UP NEXT!

Panang Curry:

This rich and creamy curry is a personal favorite. This is my go-to dish anytime I am craving Thai food. But offers this dish packed with whole shrimps in the shell, adding a lovely texture and flavor, one I am not used to but absolutely loved. The curry is aromatic with a hint of sweetness and spice, making it a very comforting, delicious dish. I’m on a mission to try them all, but this one stands out with a 9/10.

Chiang Mai Curry Ramen Noodle:

Imagine a delicious coconut yellow curry broth paired with perfectly cooked ramen noodles. This dish is also very comforting and bursting with flavors of coconut and spices. It's a hearty and satisfying choice that deserves a 9/10.

Best for last - DESSERT!

Taro Custard Brulee:

This dessert was the highlight of the meal. The taro custard is light and fluffy, topped with a hard sugar shell that's just right. Each bite is a perfect blend of texture and light sweetness, making it the ideal way to end the evening Not too heavy, not too sweet. It's a 10/10 for sure!

Don’t believe me? Try it out yourself!

The staff at Bua Thai Ramen & Robata Grill are warm and kind, adding to the overall wonderful experience. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in NYC.
