#DIY BIRTHDAY CAKE πππ
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YA!
April babies, Happy Birthday!!
I am definitely a proud Aries and nothing means more to me than getting a year older. I know, weird, right. Most people despise the thought of old age and here is positive Lil ol me, swearing that with age comes so many new ways to look at life, I will be taking 24 by storm this year!
My birthday is April 16th & I was born in 1996 - Iβll be 24 years old! #kobeyear
When is your birthday?
When it comes to us Aries, nothing and I mean, nothing, gets in our way, π¦ .
Turn up quarantine style this year and no better way to do that than with a #DIY birthday cake! π
#DIY BIRTHDAY CAKE π
HERE IS WHAT I USEDππΌ
β’β’ 1 box Pillsbury traditional chocolate cake
β’β’ 3 eggs
β’β’ 1 cup water
β’β’ 1/2 cup oil
β’β’ Watkins food coloring
β’β’ 1-2 jars of frosting
β’β’ sprinkles
HERE IS WHAT I DID ππΌ
You are going to want to preheat your oven to 350.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until brown and cooked inside - you can check this by sticking a toothpick into your cake, if any cake forms onto the toothpick once taken out, the cake is not quite ready!
Let cool for 30 minutes.
Mix your food colorings with white frosting to your desired color & then melt for a runny consistency.
Get wild with your design!
I chose to do a pastel green and lilac runny swirl on my cake!
Add sprinkles π©.
Blow those candles out & dig in!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
